Baby Turns One

On November 22nd of last year my dad passed away and two days later our youngest grandchild was born. That whole week was bittersweet to say the least. In the midst of sadness new joy emerged. A precious little girl that Nana can dress in pink. Her older sister had been anticipating her arrival as well as the rest of us. She was seven years old and had wanted a sibling for a long time.

Thanksgiving evening when we were all together we had a birthday party for baby Brylee who turned one. She had had one the night before with her other grandparents. She had no idea what all the fuss was about but she looked pleased.

She has learned to take a few steps on her own, but if she really wants to get somewhere fast she gets back down on hands and knees and takes off.

Brylee is crazy about her sister. Her eyes light up when she walks into the room. Here Cailynn is helping her little sister open presents.

We are blessed with four grandchildren. Two boys and two girls with the youngest one year old and the oldest seven years old. The two boys are in between the two girls. When they all get together it is total chaos. We love it.

Just remember - it's never to late to have a few more of your own!!

No wait, that's what they say when they're trying to get you to adopt a new puppy! :)
