I must come to her defense however. She suffers from dry eye and her left eye was really bothering her as well as her ears. She also complained of not having any energy. Sounds like she might be coming down with something. Her grandchildren have been sick so she might be coming down with whatever they had.
On another note, we did find some good buys. She will probably post her fantastic buy on her blog, so check there sometime this week. My great buy of the day was this cut crystal bowl with stand. It is beautiful and very heavy, so I know it's of good quality. I bought it for $6.00!
I couldn't believe the price and I ask my sister if I was reading the sales tag correctly. Yes, just six dollars. Thrifting is so much fun. I know what you are thinking. She'll end up storing it in her newly cleaned out closet! I don't think so.
Snow is in the forcast for tomorrrow and Monday. Possibly up to three inches. I can deal with that as long as there is no ice. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Restful anyway.

As long as you didn't draw on her face with a marker while she was sleeping! :)
LOL What sisters will do to each other LOL! The bowl is beautiful!
Take JackDaddy's advice, and watch your back, Sis! Ha! Glad to report that I'm feeling better today and I'm snuggling under the snuggie with Tootie! Have a cuppa coffee, some cookies and knitting. Had fun yesterday!
Love you
Liz
Thankyou Chris for your lovely comments on my blog....I am happy to have passed my joys of life onto you. You never know, one day there might be another house on the hill in Tasmania??? Take care, smiles and love, Amanda xxxx
Beware of payback from Sleeping Beauty!
And the bowl is fabulous! I found a similar one without a stand at a garage sale for $1! I should send you a picture.
I too went thrift shopping on Saturday. Needed some turtlenecks & found a few in super shape - tossed them in the washer & no one would guess they came from Value Village! One is a Ralph Lauren ($3) - score!!
