Family Pictures Are Meant To Be Seen
A school picture of my husband around the time I was born.
My first grade school picture.
The other day I decided to get down one of the boxes of pictures of my husband and I when we were children. I also collected some of the pictures of our two boys when they were children and placed them all in a decorative box to put on the coffee table in the livingroom. I got this idea out of a magazine that I subscribe to. (Yes, I subscribe to alot of magazines.) I did this so that when our grandchildren come over they can go through them and see us as children at their age. Also, they enjoy seeing their dads as children and the things they would get into. The grandchildren have already gone through the box over and over again. They have lots of questions about the pictures and it's fun to go over old times with them. Now instead of the boxes of pictures sitting up on a shelf in a closet, they are being seen as they were meant to be. Isn't that why we take pictures?

Great idea :)
I think that is a great idea. Pictures should be seen as often as possible.
That is a super idea! Mom has a puppy pic out of me and one of hers as a babe. Licky kisses, Billy
That is a wonderful idea. And the grandchildren can learn about their family histories that way by their questions and your answers.
Even at my advanced age I never get tired of seeing all the old pictures in the little albums my mom has at her house.
Yes, I agree! I recently showed my grandson his father's picture as a boy and he got such a kick out of it. It was so fun to see. You and your hubby were two cute kinds!!
Pictures are meant to be enjoyed and this is a wonderful way to do it.
