Yellow Bedroom

Some time ago I painted my guest bedroom a pale yellow. Most of you encouraged me to paint it blue but I just had to have another yellow bedroom. The house we previously owned had a yellow bedroom and I loved it. It took me a couple of weeks to paint because I painted the top part of the room one color of yellow and the bottom part a different color of yellow. I didn't like the bottom color of yellow at all, so I repainted it the same color as the top. I ordered a new quilt with shams and throw pillows to match the yellow bed and dresser. I think this room is finished for now. One day I'd like to get new carpet for all of our bedrooms but for now the old carpet will have to do. I'm thinking an area rug would help.

                                        I love the throw pillows,

                            and the pattern and colors of the quilt.

The screened porch is coming along faster than I thought it would. The carpenters have accomplished a lot this week.

I hope the weather continues to be nice so they can continue to work without any interuptions. Maybe by the end of next week it will be almost finished.
