Late Sunday evening our church offered a Trunk or Treat to all the children of our congregation and their friends and anyone else who happened by. A few weeks ago my daughter-in-law ask me if I would help her with a trunk and I said sure. This event takes the place of door to door trick or treating and offers a safe activity for all. This was the first year that our congregation has participated in this event. Candy, face painting and an old fashion cake walk were just some of the fun things offered to children.
Our trunk was Cade and Rhett's Toy Box.
Face painting
There were a lot more trunks but I didn't get all the pictures of them. One of our members is in her mid 80's and had a trunk all decorated for the kids. I wish I had her energy! Fun is what it's all about but boy was I tired when I got home. It will take me another year to get over this Halloween and get ready for next year's activities.

Last year our church held its first Trunk or Treat and we had a great time participating. This year we weren't able to because of other activities. Maybe next year we can join in again. It was a ton of fun!
Cool!
Looks like fun!!
