Soaklahoma

A local park in our area.

Our home last fall.

We have had so much rain in the last month that I have forgotten what it's like to have a sunny day like the pictures show above.  The rain has soaked our part of the state while western Oklahoma is still suffering from drought.  My estimation is that we've had at least 12 inches of rain in the last month. That's a lot of water!  The abundance of rain has also brought cold temps with it. Yesterday's high was 54 degrees and today will be 58 degrees. Weather forecasters have promised sunny days ahead and climbing temperatures. I sure am ready for warmer and dryer weather because it's hard to plant flowers in mud.

We're further south and east of you and have just barely escaped the horrible weather. I'm sure it will stop raining on you eventually so you can get out in your garden!

It's noon here and the sun came out! So, it will be headed your way soon. But it was cold this morning!

I've been praying for those folks in the western part of our state.

I sure hope sunny days are coming soon!

Hi Christine...

I can so identify with your rainy weather... I live in the BEEEE.U.TI.FUL Pacific Northwest. It really is a pretty place to live... especially if you love RAIN. I must admit, I am SO sick of it. We had a glorious day yesterday. So sunny and pretty... in the 60's! Now today is damp... No pouring down rain.... damp and yukky. Bring on the sunshine!

Hope things dry up for you soon too!

Huggies,
Spencer
