Heaven Is For Real

Last week I went to the doctor for a checkup and overheard her tell one of the nurses that works for her that she just finished a good book and suggested she read it.  I made a mental note to find the book at our local bookstore and read it myself.  Heaven Is For Real by Todd Burpo has 154 pages and took me two hours to read. It's a true story about his four year old son who left his body during surgery for an emergency apendectomy. He authenticated the claim by describing exactly what his parents were doing in another part of the hospital while he was being operated on. He talked of visiting heaven and relayed stories told to him by people he met there whom he had never met in life, sharing events that happened even before he was born. He also astonished his parents with descriptions and obscure details about heaven that matched the Bible exactly, though he had not yet learned to read.

As a believer that heaven is for real, this book edified my belief and gave me hope that I, too, will someday see and experience the beauty of heaven and see loved ones that have pasted through the door from this world to eternity.

Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."  John 20:29

Reminds me of the time Drew told his Nanny that Thelma was in his dream from the night before. He never knew her as she had passed away while he was "in the womb." But she appeared to him in his dream and I think that she knew him and loved him before he was even born! Never discount what a child says, they haven't learned to lie yet and they speak with an innocent honesty. Heaven is real, and Mother let us all know when she appeared in Drew's dream.

My sister-in-law passed away this morning and I know without a doubt that Heaven is real and Michelle is there right this minute and that gives me comfort :)

This sounds like a fascinating book to read. Shall keep a look out and see if I can get a copy.

God bless,

Sounds like a good story! I believe too. I also believe if we listen carefully to our inner spirit we have unseen helpers around us at all times. I have many times posed a question to the Universe and received guidance leading me to the correct answer.
