Ramblings

I am fit to be tied!  Just when things are going good something always happens to change things and the older I get the harder it is for changes.  I am not computer literate, just a novice. So when I finally figure how to do something on the computer it's quite an accomplishment.  Then wonder of all wonders something happens ( a computer demon ) and nothing works like it did. For instance, I am not able to import pictures from my camera to the computer like I was doing and have to learn another way to do it and my printer and computer all of the sudden decide to change how to print documents.  Am I making sense?  Does this happen to you? What gives anyway?  You can see how frustrated I am.  Hopefully, I'll get it all figured out and things will get back to normal.  I don't know why I let things like this bug me.

On another note, I am so tired of the cold and cloudy weather we've had here this last week. It has definitely put me in a funk.  We've had some rain but according to the weatherman not enough.  Our county and those surrounding us are under a burn ban because it's so dry. I am happiest when I can get out in our yard and dig in the dirt.  I have plans for new flowerbeds but it's too cold and dreary to get started.  The weatherman promises us warmer weather this weekend.  Boy, am I ready for it.

I'm also anxious to get back out on the deck to enjoy the warm weather that we were experiencing a few weeks ago.  At least the pups are keeping me amused with all their mischievousness and tomorrow I'm going out to lunch with a friend. Now if I can get my computer woes figured out I'll be in a much better mood.  Won't you be glad?

My advice is just to let a computer savvy person get it together for you. I am the same. I am only able to do some things. When I have issues I just hand the laptop over to my computer guru. Well worth the wear and tear on this old gal.

Weather: While listening to our local news this evening our weather forcaster advised of up to 9" of snow is expected tonight. Seriously it feels like Spring! Just prior to her announcement I was eyeing the new deck furniture (exactly like yours) still in their boxes under my new deck. I have a group of young men coming over later to haul the boxes up to the deck. But alas I plan to keep the furniture in the boxes as I still do not have covers for the pieces.

And finally I did find the You Tube of the dogs, but they are other poodles and indeed they do look just like mine. So cute! Loved the guilty dog and his/her teeth. What a riot!

My husband and I keep saying we need to forget about computers and go back to pencil and paper.

Maybe you need a road trip to the south...say Florida :)
Just you and all the pups and bring Ninny and come on down!! Beautiful down here :)

I think grimlins live in computers. It seems as though every time I need to do something really important on the computer, it somehow senses my need and decides to not work the way it should.

Yes, these things happen. Mercifully, I do have a computer geek or two in the family and they can usually get things back on track.

Oh rain for a week is never pleasant...hope that your lunch out with a friend was a lot of fun.
