Ready for Summer

Not only have I been working in our yard all week but I also have been getting the new screened-in deck ready for the summer.  I went to Lowes yesterday and bought some plants and then went to Big Lots and bought some pillows for the furniture.  This is all I plan to do for now.

I've been taking advantage of the warm afternoons relaxing out on the deck after working so hard cleaning out the flowerbeds.  I enjoy reading and a cold glass of tea when lounging.  We will really enjoy the deck this summer and plan to do a lot of entertaining with our family out here.  I am so glad we decided to go ahead with this project.

Your deck looks like some expensive spa place, just beautiful. I know you will have a wonderful time there come summer. Yes, all the fruits in the SJ valley are huge and tasty. Oh, the oranges in Exeter!!

I bought deck furniture at Lowe's on Saturday that looks exactly like yours! There is a picture of what I bought over at my blog. Took advantage of Lowe's free delivery. It will be delivered on Tuesday but is going to stay in the garage until the pergola roof leaks are fixed.

Got the accessories at Pier One. Have a great day, your screened in porch looks so pretty!!

A wonderful place to sit back and
relax, to enjoy the weather without the bugs!!

PS Having a cone dog in an RV is really hard! He's learned how to back up quite well in tight spaces because he can't turn around! LOL
