New Year Resolutions

I don't do "New Year" resolutions. Mainly, because I never could keep them. Then I'd feel guilty. I hate the feeling of guilt. BUT, if I still made them I would have one for this coming year of 2012.  Blog less and try other things to fill my time.

There is nothing wrong with blogging, but I found myself spending a lot of my time on the computer. BLOGGING. I was so busy the month of December that I didn't have much time to blog. I read blogs when I could but didn't have time to post. You know what? I didn't miss it all that much and I actually didn't have withdrawl symtoms.  Not like I thought I would.

I love keeping up with all the friends I've made blogging and I can't give that up but I just won't write as much on mine.  I have signed up for a Yoga class and a knitting class. I already volunteer when needed at our local food pantry and at a local school our church helps with. I also meet with a group of ladies once a week in Bible study.

I have some plans to do some remodeling around our home starting with the kitchen walls. I plan to remove the wall paper and paint the walls. That might take a while. So, if I were making a new year resolution, I would spend less time blogging and more time being creative with my time doing other things. IF, I made new year resolutions....

(¸.•´ (¸.•` ¤ HAPPY NEW YEAR CHRISTINE!!*´¨)I totally understand your feelings and that there is really a need to balance 'real life' with your 'blogging life' too. I've had to do the same thing. I enjoy my blogging friends, but I can't work, take care of the dogs and keep up with blogging too. Do what works for you--It's fun to spend time with all of us that 'live inside your computer in blog-land' but there's joy in spreading your wings and learning new things and meeting new 'real' people--Again, I admire you for finding that balance. It's there, trust me! We'll see you when you can! :-)) Take care!!

Happy New Year! I've missed you! So glad to find out you were busy & nothing was wrong.

Have fun with your classes. I learned in jr. high, but I haven't done any knitting in many years.

Smiles,
Carol

I'm hoping for regular updates on your projects. Now that my hubby is here, I don't find the time to blog as much as I did when I was alone. Happy New Year, dear Christine.

I knew it! I've always said that the longer one stays away the easier it becomes. No, you are right, blogging should serve you and not the other way around.

I've certainly been blogging less but I do try to make the rounds in the blogging world to visit the friends I've made the last few years. Sometimes life gets in the way though. There are so many things I want to do - and some I really need to do. So I totally understand where you're coming from. Enjoy this new year we've been given and make it the best one yet. See you when I see you.

Thank you for visiting me Miss Christine. I don't make resolutions either...don't like guilt just like you. Real or false.

This year I've only said I want to love more freely and deeply than ever before...

Thank you for blessing me with your visits~

Love, Rebecca
