Cuckoo, Cuckoo

A few weeks ago my hubby and I went to an estate sale. This is what I came  home with.

It not only has a little bird that cuckoos, but a little man comes out and plays Dr. Zhivago. I have always wanted a cuckoo clock and I love it. Now if my hubby just loved it as much as I do.

I admit that it takes some getting use to, but as deaf as he is, he shouldn't be complaining. Anyway, the grandchildren love it!

My grandparents had one like that. I always loved watching it.

If I had one of those and my hubs didn't like it, I'd just tell him to take his hearing aids out! I would love to own one!

I would enjoy seeing a little video of the bird and the man singing.

What a charming little clock. I remember when those were "all the rage". Beautiful detail on the clock. I bit your sister loves it too!

Oh gosh what is with these deaf husbands! Mine is as deaf as ever, I have to repeat things over and over. Exhausting. And the loud TV. ..... enough said....

That is a truly wonderful clock. I have also always wanted one. Since my first husband was stationed in Germany twice, I thought perhaps I might actually find one in the mail one day. Never happened. He just didn't listen.

What a great find. We used to have one in my childhood home. I don't think it lasted long, don't know why.
