Rowdy Says

We left Rowdy at Noah's Ark while we went to Branson, Missouri for four days. He's letting us know he was not happy with that arrangement by pouting since we brought him home.  He didn't even beg for food when we ate dinner last night. He stays close to his Papa and avoids me. The ark was full to capacity when we left him so he didn't get much rest. He's been sleeping a lot and rarely moves from his place on Papa's chair.  Hopefully, in a few days he'll be back to his ole self.

Postnote from Rowdy:  Yes, I am pouting. They left me to dog gone long at that "place" this time and I am not a happy camper. How would you like it if you had to stay in a cage most of the time and listen to other dogs yap, yap, yap day and night. The food wasn't like what I get at home and the music wasn't my taste. Not one pedigree to talk to. Talk about boring. I've decided to pout because I've seen my Papa do it and it seems to work most of the time. So I am going to milk it for all it's worth. Maybe they will think twice about doing that to me again.

Poor Rowdy...all that yapping and probably snoring, too. Aren't you glad to be home? Blame it on your Mama, it was all her idea!

We picked up our dogs at the kennel once and one of them was so mad at us she chewed up an entire suitcase on the drive home.

Poor poor Rowdy! What you really need is a sister or brother to keep you company for time like these!
