Snow Pictures

The blowing snow yesterday left our screened-in deck looking like this.

Our shed in the backyard.

The deck.

Our front yard.

The house across the street.

A view of the neighborhood.

These pictures were all taken yesterday. The sun finally came out around five in the afternoon and the snow moved out and went north. Total snow fall for us was 8 inches but Tulsa got 12 and then numbers went up as the snow went north. There are a lot of snow drifts caused by the windy conditions so it is very hard to get out of our own driveways. Today I haven't seen anyone out and about. No school, no newspapers and no mail delivery. Temps are -2 degrees so this stuff will be around for awhile. That's ok. I've got internet, books to read and rented movies to watch. My hubby has his sports channels. Life is good.

Enjoy your snow day!!!

It's pretty. It's not fun when everything shuts down and you can't move. I lived in Tulsa for a couple of years eons ago and I never saw snow like this. I do remember how treacherous snow and icy weather was there. Your poor little pup...Molly's like that here until John gets a path cleared for her. Nothing like being up to their giblets in snow! Brrr...
