More on Roses

As I mentioned in my very first blog post my mother loved painting roses. She used oils, watercolors and acrylics to paint on canvas and china.  She was so talented and yet she doubted herself of having any talent at all. I'd like to share with you some pictures I took of her work. What do you think?

These are just a few pieces of the many I have throughout my home. My sister has her share as well. My mother also shared much of her artwork with our children, friends, and other relatives and they have those in their homes. She painted other things besides roses and I'll share pictures of those in future posts. Her artwork she left to us are wonderful keepsakes that I will cherish, and hopefully, generations in the future will cherish them as well.

Your mother' work is beautiful. It is unfortunate that she couldn't appreciate her own talent.
